Unfortunate Bayley update following WWE RAW

This week on WWE RAW, the Women's WarGames match was made official after Rhea Ripley made her return and wrapped up the babyface team. The match will now see Ripley teaming with Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Iyo Sky, and Naomi up against Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Candice LeRae.

This means that for the first time since WarGames was introduced to the main roster back in 2022, Bayley won't be part of the match. Bayley was part of the first match and last year's women's five-on-five bout, but hasn't been made a part of this year's despite recently feuding with Nia Jax.

Bayley wrestled Jax at Bad Blood but was unable to capture the WWE Women's Championship which would have allowed her to be part of this year's match. The Role Model is still a major star on SmackDown, but it seems that Naomi was chosen above her because of her alliance with Cargill and Belair.

What does this mean for Bayley on WWE SmackDown?

Bayley has been part of the WWE Women's Championship picture over the past few months because she has been looking to take back the title she lost to Jax at WWE SummerSlam. She recently moved out of the title picture when Jax began her feud with Liv Morgan heading into Crown Jewel.

Despite this, Bayley has remained a part of the overall story and has been on hand to back Naomi up when needed because the Women's Tag Team Champions are not always able to make the save.

WarGames is inside a cage so it's unlikely that The Role Model will play any part in the show now that the teams have been named. That being said, she could continue to push forward and be the one who is handed a title shot at Royal Rumble in February.
