SummerSlam went off the air and Jacob Fatu was involved in an unfortunate moment that might be a confirmation of something worse. Sportskeeda's own Dr. Chris Featherstone posted it on Twitter.

Jacob Fatu interrupted in the Bloodline Rules WWE Championship match as expected in the SummerSlam main event. He almost took out Cody Rhodes and hit a huge splash on him on the announcer's desk - immediately clutching his leg and leading to speculation about an injury.

After SummerSlam went off the air, Dr. Chris Featherstone posted a video showing Jacob Fatu being helped to the back by a referee, which could be a sign that it's a real injury that took place.

Check out the clip below:

If so, this will be unfortunate. Jacob made a huge splash in his debut month and has been the star of The Bloodline. It appears as though WWE purposely ensured the returning Roman Reigns didn't interact with Jacob.

The Jacob-Roman match could be even more highly anticipated than a Roman Reigns-Solo Sikoa match. Either way, we're going to see the fallout from all of this and hear possible news about Jacob's injury in the coming hours and days.

Fans can only hope that it isn't as serious as it looks.
