According to reports from NoDQ.com, the feud between Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns which was supposed to have kick-started at Royal Rumble, has been preponed a month early.
WWE have already pulled the trigger on this feud — not on live TV, but in the live events. The direction in which they're going is that Kevin Owens challenges Roman Reigns for his United States Championship in the main event.
Surprisingly — Reigns always defeats Owens in these title matches, which if seen through a critical eye, reveals that the company is placing their mid-card champion over their top-tier champion. However, since these live event matches aren't televised — their results can’t be accepted as cannon.

Kevin Owens won the Universal Championship at the RAW a week after SummerSlam with assistance from Triple H. Ever since then — he's defended his championship successfully several times against Seth Rollins at Clash of Champions, Hell in a Cell, and on the recent edition of Monday Night RAW.
Owens' opponent Roman Reigns — won the United States Championship from Rusev at Clash of Champions. Reigns defended the title successfully at Hell in a Cell, thus ending their feud. After Hell in a Cell on the post-PPV show, RAW Talk — Reigns announced that he would now like to go after the Universal Championship.
Almost everyone in the WWE Universe knew about the Reigns/Owens programme because Pittsburgh's PPG Paints Arena, who'll be hosting the RAW-exclusive PPV — Roadblock, accidently tweeted the main event of the show through their Twitter handle:
The main event, it seems, will be Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens in a "Champion vs. Champion" match for the Universal Championship. But, if Owens is also gunning for the US title, then maybe the match will be for both the titles.
Thus, now that the programme has officially begun — it will be interesting to see how they'll work it out starting from tomorrow night's RAW.
