A lot has changed in WWE ever since Triple H took control of the company's creative direction. One of these includes more taped shows so the employees get ample time to spend with their families. However, wrestling veteran Vince Russo is not in favor of the same, as he said he loved live holiday shows.
As noted earlier, the upcoming editions of both RAW and SmackDown were taped after the latest live shows. This has been the norm in Triple H's regime, with WWE taping shows around holidays to give talents more time off.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo noted that he was not a fan of taped shows and used to love working the holiday events back in his time as the company's head writer.
"I used to love the holiday shows. I used to love it. I used to love our Christmas shows because you knew after the show, you would go home and celebrate Christmas with your family. It was really really special to do the Christmas shows." [From 55:18 onwards]
Triple H has given WWE stars more freedom in his regime. The Chief Content Officer is often praised by talents and others for the same.
