[VIDEO] Cody Rhodes hits a superkick and 'loses' sponsorship after SmackDown goes off the air

Cody Rhodes is a true man of the people. Even after the double-taping of SmackDown ended, he remained with the fans to send a message. He even hit a superkick and joked about losing a sponsorship once the show ended.

July 19 wasn't a great night for Cody Rhodes, nor was July 12. The previous week, he saw his friend and mentor Randy Orton get taken out by The Bloodline, and this week, they executed an even deadlier assault on Kevin Owens, isolating Cody ahead of his WWE Championship match against Solo Sikoa in the main event of SummerSlam.

After SmackDown went off the air, Cody Rhodes super-kicked a big Prime Bottle, joking that he was going to 'lose' his sponsorship because of it.

He went on to thank the fans for the opportunity to have a double taping in front of them and paid a little tribute to his friend Kevin Owens, who looks like he will be out of action for SummerSlam like Randy Orton.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens from here. Cody went on to tell fans that he would stay longer for autographs and photos.

He has his own tour bus, so it's unlikely that he will be in a rush.
