[VIDEO] Jey Uso makes former heel break character after SmackDown dark match

"Main Event" Jey Uso is red hot now, and despite the incredible end of SmackDown this week, he still had the crowd go loud for him. He managed to get a former opponent and heel to break character in the post-show dark match.

The star is none other than Damian Priest. This week's SmackDown featured two dark matches post-show - with Sami Zayn first defeating Santos Escobar before dancing as Jey Uso made his way to the ring. The two had a wholesome embrace before Jey went in to face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in the night's second match.

Jey Uso would end up teaming up with Damian Priest to take down Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium. Post-match, he got Damian Priest to break character in a big way by having him "Yeet."

This is a change for Damian Priest, who has been serious and angry for almost the entirety of the post-SummerSlam period. The 41-year-old babyface and Rhea Ripley have been getting the better of the new Judgment Day so far.

You can see Sami Zayn dancing to Jey's theme song while they have a wholesome moment together.

Damian Priest seems to be enjoying his lighter side. Hopefully, we'll see more of it in the months to come.
