Vince McMahon allegedly fined the late Vader a whopping $30,000 due to a controversial incident in Kuwait.
WWE toured the Middle East in 1997. During the tour, The Undertaker and Vader were interviewed by Good Morning Kuwait. Many fans are aware that the interview didn't go as planned, and Vader snapped at the reporter for asking The Undertaker about pro wrestling not being a real sport.
Vader then flipped the table and proceeded to grab the interviewer by the tie. This incident caused many problems, as Vader was fined $166 and was put on 10 days of house arrest.
Vince McMahon certainly must have been unhappy over Vader's actions in Kuwait. If Bruce Prichard is to be believed, the Executive Chairman fined Vader $30,000. As per Prichard, this was the biggest fine ever issued by WWE to a superstar at that point.

"Vader was fined the largest fine we had ever fined anyone up until that point. $30,000. And expenses. Expenses of staying over there and security and everything, and getting them out and all that." [0:23-0:50]
Vince McMahon didn't pick up Vader's calls following his arrest in Kuwait
Several wrestling personalities have spoken up about the unfortunate incident in the past.
While speaking on Sportskeeda's Legion of RAW with Dr. Chris Featherstone, Vince Russo revealed that McMahon wasn't picking up Vader's calls following the incident in Kuwait.
"Yeah, but he got arrested, remember? Bro, Vader was calling Vince off the hook, scared to death. Bro, he was arrested in Kuwait. Scared to death! I didn't know what to do. Didn't know if he would ever be able to go back home. Bro, Vince, and Bruce weren't taking his calls, and they were laughing. I witnessed this! It was times like that as a regular person that I would sit there, and I'm like, are you guys? Think about any corporation acting that way. It's insanity, bro. But they think it's funny. The mentality would blow you away."
Following the incident, wrestling was banned for 10 years in Kuwait. Vader's mistake during the interview potentially cost WWE massive money.
