Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon has been in the news again lately, owing to the release of the Netflix docuseries titled, Mr. McMahon. According to a veteran, some of the comments made in the program by the former boss may have apparently served to implicate himself.
The allegations against McMahon have been disturbing, to say the least, which seemingly led to him resigning from his position in WWE that he held for almost four decades. In the Netflix docuseries, he was occasionally seen commenting on his se*ual prowess, which Vince Russo thinks he would never have done if the interview had happened after the Janel Grant allegations came to light.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the former WWE head writer stated that he felt Netflix had produced a very factual docuseries that seemingly was devoid of any agenda or particular narrative. Russo felt McMahon himself ended up saying certain things that could go against the latter in the future.

"I feel that they 100% produced this right down the middle. I don't think they tried to put any narrative on it. I don't think they had an agenda. I think that if anybody implicated themselves, it was Vince by some of the things that he said, and I thought it was very very to the point, factual. I don't think they smeared his name in any way, even when they covered the allegations in like the 30 minutes of the show; bro, they just presented the facts," he said. [2:08 onwards]

The WWE veteran thinks Vince McMahon's own words were harmful in retrospect
According to Vince Russo, McMahon possibly regrets much of what he said during the interviews for the Netflix docuseries.
Adding to his comments on the matter on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, the WWE veteran explained that McMahon's comments about his se*ual life were rather distasteful, and served to harm his own image.
"Vince said some things. You gotta keep in mind man Vince was interviewed before the allegations and he said some things I bet he probably regrets and would have never said after the allegations. Talking about his se*ual prowess and his se*ual appetite, and you know stuff like that. So you know, if anybody implicated Vince McMahon, it was Vince McMahon," he said. [2:49 onwards]
As of now, it remains to be seen how the lawsuit involving Vince McMahon will play out after the conclusion of the currently ongoing federal investigation against him.
