Former WWE employee and wrestling personality Eric Bischoff recently shared his thoughts on the Vince McMahon docuseries. The series was released on Netflix this week and has been grabbing headlines.
Vince is the subject of Netflix's latest docuseries. The show has gotten people talking about McMahon's past and the rise and fall of the former Chairman of the wrestling juggernaut.
During a recent episode of 83 Weeks, Bischoff pointed out that Vince McMahon had a strained relationship with his mother and stepdad. He felt it must have been hard for a young Vince growing up in a house where his stepfather was physically abusing him. Eric also stated that things were not right between McMahon and his mom because she too did nothing to put an end to the physical abuse.
"This is a kid who grew up being physically abused by his stepfather, who grew up wanting to love and know his biological father. He didn't even get to know his last name until he was twelve years old." He continued, "Physically abusive stepfather, I don't know what his relationship was with his mother. But it couldn't have been good if she was turning a blind eye or knowingly allowing her son to be abused by this man who's his stepfather. That's pretty ugly for any human being to grow up." Vince McMahon released a statement ahead of the release
Former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon recently took to Twitter to share his thoughts ahead of the release of the docuseries.
The former boss has claimed that he did not regret participating in the series. However, he urged fans to watch the show objectively and hope that some of the facts allegedly taken out of context would not twist their opinion of him.
He concluded that there are two sides to every story and some of his points had been misinterpreted or left out entirely.
