Vince McMahon's comeback may be hindered by his Endeavor deal, feels former WWE employee (Exclusive)

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently spoke about Vince McMahon planning to make a comeback to the entertainment business. The veteran wrestling promoter stepped down from WWE earlier this year after a lawsuit accusing him of sexual harassment among other things.

PWInsider recently reported that McMahon was planning to set up an entertainment hub company. The company would be based out of Los Angeles if it officially launched. The report also stated that some former WWE alumni were also part of the project.

During a recent episode of The Wrestling Outlaws, Russo mentioned that Vince McMahon would find it difficult to get his entertainment company up and running. He pointed out that McMahon probably had signed a non-compete with Endeavor, making him unable to work in the wrestling business. The veteran wrestler felt that the 79-year-old possibly regretted signing the non-compete clause.

"Unfortunately, I don't think this is ever going to happen. First of all, this is so ironic. We know, for years and years and years, Vince made talent sign a contract where there was a non-compete clause which would never hold up in a court of law. Nobody would ever fight it because they didn't want to p*ss WWE off." He continued, "You know there was a non-compete in the Endeavor deal with Vince. There's no way, no shape or form he can ever do anything involved in wrestling. So that may have come to bite him in the backside." [From 02:10 to 02:55]

Vince McMahon still has several issues hounding him such as the FBI investigation, the Janel Grant lawsuit, and the Ring Boy lawsuit. It will be interesting to see if the veteran wrestling promoter can clear his name.
