A scam involving Alexa Bliss' name recently made headlines, prompting comments from WWE veterans. According to former on-screen manager Dutch Mantell, Vince McMahon would have dealt with the situation in his own unique way.
Alfred Mancinelli, who was in his 70s, reportedly fell victim to a major scam. The impersonator, posing as the popular wrestler Alexa Bliss, manipulated Alfred and got him to transfer all his retirement savings of nearly 1 million dollars. While the victim is no longer alive, the case came to the attention of the pro wrestling world only recently.
Speaking about the matter on Sportskeeda's SmackTalk, Dutch Mantell explained that Vince McMahon would have turned the topic into an angle. He said:
"You know what Vince would have done if he was still around? He would have taken this and turned it into some kind of an angle... And probably would make it work. I don't know but it sounds like an angle anyway." [5:04 onwards]

The WWE veteran also shared his thoughts on the case
Dutch Mantell seemed quite taken aback by the news of the Alexa Bliss impersonation.
Speaking on the same episode of SmackTalk, the WWE veteran expressed his views on scams like the one involving Alexa Bliss' name. He said:
"This is a shame. (...) It just goes to show you, hey you get these scammers all the time. And this guy, whoever scammed him all of it, and it probably didn't take a lot of work either. How old is he?" [2:47 onwards]
Dutch Mantell further added:
"It's a shame it happened. I just want everybody to take notice of that. Don't trust anybody online." [3:44 onwards]
It remains to be seen if any new details on the matter will be uncovered in the following weeks and if WWE star Alexa Bliss will comment on the matter as well.
