He might be a controversial name, but Vince Russo remains one of the most vocal experts in the pro wrestling business. The former WWE writer recently opened up about an issue he had with Phil Mushnick during Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Russo was a panelist during a recent episode of Piers Morgan's show, which revolved around the fallout from the Netflix documentary on Vince McMahon. Alongside Russo, Jonathan Coachman, Charly Caruso, and Maven shared their experiences of working in WWE.
The former WWE personalities were later also joined by veteran sports columnist Phil Mushnick, who also featured on the Netflix docuseries and was highly critical of Vince McMahon's past.
On Piers Morgan Uncensored, things got pretty heated between Vince Russo and Phil Mushnick. Russo explained on this week's Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW that he was annoyed about Mushnick constantly bringing up the steroid scandal from the '90s.

Vince Russo labeled it "old news" and felt Mushnick's seemingly unwanted comments prevented the panelists from speaking about real topics during the debate.
"You know what I'm really mad about? I swear, bro, this show was supposed to be about the documentary and Mushnick comes on there and he's talking about the steroid trial in the 1990s, oh come on, bro! It was so yesterday's news and old news and they, you know, Piers' group really wanted to do a show on the documentary and we did not get to talk about that thing at all, bro."
Vince Russo noted that he and the other guests on the show weren't fully aware of Phil Mushnick's appearance. However, the producers of the show did mention that they were trying to get the journalist on board.
As things panned out, viewers were treated to a typically explosive Piers Morgan Uncensored episode.
