The December 30, 2024, episode of WWE RAW marked the end of the USA Network Era and its run on linear television after three decades. It was also Wade Barrett's last day as commentator of Monday Night RAW. The British star recently took to his social media to address his future.
Netflix will become the new home of the flagship show starting January 6 next week. Triple H is expected to shuffle the roster, including the commentary team.
Earlier today, Wade Barrett took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle to announce the end of his RAW commentary run. The 44-year-old WWE veteran said Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will return to RAW as his and Joe Tessitore's replacements.
Barrett and Tessitore may not be a part of the RAW broadcasting team moving forward, but the two men would be a part of the post-show.
A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.
"Thank you #WWERAW on @USANetwork, it’s been a pleasure! Can’t wait to see what’s in store next week on the @netflix debut. @Michael Cole & @PatMcAfee, you’re up 👊🏻 @JoeTessESPN & I will see you on the RAW debut post-show. 🍻"

What's next for Wade Barrett in WWE?
Wade Barrett has served as a commentator since his return to the Stamford-based promotion in 2020. He has been moving back and forth from RAW to SmackDown over the last two years.
With Michael Cole and Pat McAfee set to return to Monday Night RAW, this leaves Corey Graves alone on SmackDown.
It will be interesting to see if Barrett or Tessitore will move to SmackDown.
Barrett has previously clarified that he's not retired from in-ring competition and is open to the idea of facing Drew McIntyre. Will the former Nexus leader return to the ring in 2025? Only time will tell.
