Former Nexus leader Wade Barrett is willing to come out of retirement for one more match against former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre. The British wrestler hasn't laced up his boots in over eight years.
Since returning to WWE in 2020, Barrett has served as a color commentator on NXT and now SmackDown. Wade, at 43, isn't getting any younger, but he has kept himself in good shape.
In an interview with AceOdds, the former Intercontinental Champion revealed his desire to face Drew McIntyre in front of a jam-packed crowd at Wembley Stadium, which happens to be in his home country.
"If I could have one match for the remainder of my days on this planet, it would absolutely be me against Drew McIntyre at Wembley Stadium. If they dangled that in front of me at any point in time, yeah, absolutely. I'm coming back, and I'm having that match sold out at Wembley Stadium. But that is a bit of a pipe dream," Barrett said.
