Video footage showing a 30-year-old star getting assaulted in a parking lot was aired on NXT tonight. This led to a major announcement about Wes Lee.

Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz surprised the world when they showed up on NXT last month to reunite with Wes Lee. However, this reunion was short-lived, as Lee turned on his friends a few weeks later.
As a result, Lee and Wentz competed against each other at NXT No Mercy - a match that Wentz ended up winning. Following the match, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz announced that they were going after the NXT Tag Team Championship.

They were supposed to challenge for the titles last week but didn't show up, and the match was changed in the end. Tonight on NXT, Zachary Wentz showed up with an explanation for why they couldn't compete last week.
Wentz showed footage of Miguel getting attacked by Lee in a parking lot. Wentz also mentioned that he didn't know how long Miguel would be out of action for. He then announced that he would face Lee in a Chicago Street Fight on October 1st.
