WWE SmackDown is heading to Glasgow, Scotland for Clash at The Castle 2024. However, it looks like Austin Theory was seemingly upset with Grayson Waller after this week's Friday Night show.

Earlier this year, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, which later became the WWE Tag Team Championship after WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia. Lately, the two stars seem to be not on the same page, as Grayson Waller has been undermining the star.

During an appearance on SmackDown LowDown, the champions were interviewed, and Austin Theory starred daggers at Grayson Waller. Later, Waller interrupted Theory and answered on his behalf.

The former United States Champion seemingly looked upset at Grayson Waller and his actions on Friday Night SmackDown, when Waller used Theory as a shield during his match against Johnny Gargano before securing a win.

Austin Theory didn't get a chance to speak or address the events, as Waller took all the time and spoke on Theory's behalf. In the end, the Tag Team Champions walked off in different directions, as A-Town seemingly looked unhappy.

Multi-time WWE World Champion has high hopes for Austin Theory

After signing with WWE in 2019, Austin Theory has made a name for himself in professional wrestling. The rising star is no stranger to success, as the previous regime was heavily behind him as the next face of the company.

Speaking to Senior Editor Bill Apter in an exclusive with Sportskeeda Wrestling, Randy Orton spoke highly of the star and believes Theory possesses the tools to become a world champion in WWE.

"It's hard, I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but Austin Theory is young and he's got a great look. I know where his head's at. I've had plenty of talks with him, and a lot of the things that I did as a kid that I maybe shouldn't have, the distractions that I was confronted with, he doesn't have those. I think he's just a little more gung-ho, motivated. He sees the goal, he sees the prize, he knows what he wants. I think he'll definitely be a world champion one day," Orton said.
