A notable WWE Superstar who performed up until 2022 inside the squared circle in a wrestling capacity and, since then, outside the ring as a manager, has now shared a positive update regarding his health. The man in question is none other than Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP).
MVP has managed Omos since 2022. The Nigerian Giant was last seen competing in the 2024 André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal in March. Porter mentioned last month that he hopes to wrestle a few more times before he hangs up his boots for good.
Taking to Instagram, MVP shared a follow-up message after his recent stem cell therapy, where former WWE Champion Big E had also joined him. He informed fans that his knees are feeling a lot better now and that, overall, he is a lot healthier than before.
"An update on my knee post stem cell treatment at @rejuvstem . I have had my knee scoped 3 times. 80% of the medial meniscus is gone. Is arthritic. Bone on bone. Constantly swollen and painful. But..." MVP captioned his post.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
The wrestling legend stated in the video that, for the first time in years, he was able to walk with no pain in his knee. While he claimed that his shoulders were still somewhat sore, it appears the treatment is working for him.
Check out what he had to say in the video clip below:
MVP is known for his in-ring tenure in WWE between 2006 and 2010, during which he held the United States Championship for a record-setting 343 days. This record was only broken in 2014 by Jon Moxley (then Deam Ambrose).
AJ Styles is proud of his former WWE tag team partner Omos
Omos won his first title in WWE thanks to his association with AJ Styles. The two men dethroned The New Day at WrestleMania 37 to become the new RAW Tag Team Champions. They held the belts until SummerSlam 2021, where they dropped them to RK-Bro.
Styles and Omos continued their alliance until early 2023 when The Nigerian Giant defeated his mentor in a singles match on RAW. While speaking to Sportsmail last year, AJ had this to say about his former tag team partner:
"I'm so proud of him dude, so proud of him. It's harder for a man of his size to learn what we do, it's not easy. It's easier for me, guys like this size, cos I can do almost everything right? But for him, a guy who's like 7'3, 7'4 with his shoes on, for him to be doing what he's doing right now, I am absolutely 100% loving it and so proud of him cos it's not easy for a man of his size," said Styles.
WWE has not used Omos for any storyline since his feud with Seth Rollins in May last year. Prior to that, he wrestled Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.
