WWE live events are often full of fun and memorable moments, and this Saturday's house show in Fayetteville was no different as Cody Rhodes called out Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
The Tribal Chief was earlier advertised for the WWE Supershow Fayetteville, North Carolina, on The Crown Coliseum arena's official Facebook page. However, the post was later deleted, and the Bloodline leader was nowhere to be seen at the event.
Cody Rhodes, who headlined the event against Finn Balor in a Street Fight, addressed Roman's absence after his victory. He also called out Brock before promising to defeat the Beast Incarnate for the second time.
"My theory is that the reason that Roman Reigns didn't wanna be here is because he's afraid of me. That theory also extends to my opponent at Night of Champions, Brock Lesnar. I make you a promise, the next time I come here, my promise is this, I hope to have defeated Brock Lesnar not just once, but twice. I also hope that I'll be wearing some gold around my waist."

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will be in action at WWE Night of Champions
While the two megastars rarely compete at house shows, they will be in action at the company's upcoming Night of Champions Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.
Roman Reigns will be teaming up with Solo Sikoa to take on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens for the Undisputed Tag Team titles after The Usos failed to bring back the gold to The Bloodline.
The Beast Incarnate, meanwhile, will continue his rivalry with Cody Rhodes after losing the first match between them at Backlash 2023.
The Beast was visibly upset after the defeat and attacked The American Nightmare during the first round of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament.
While Cody Rhodes came up short against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, the American Nightmare proved at Backlash why he is the top babyface in WWE currently.
The former AEW star has reiterated multiple times that he aims to win a championship eventually. However, he will have to go through Brock Lesnar first in order to move closer to his dream.
