In one of his recent livestreams, Boogs performed a jaw-dropping 960-pound trap bar deadlift, breaking his previous record and setting a new personal best. He later took to Instagram to share his achievement with fans.
"960 lbs SMASHED on the livestream! Thanks to everyone that tuned in. I was feeling like a pencilneck my whole workout until I decided to turn the red light on for the world to witness 🌎," Rick Boogs wrote.

Rick Boogs spoke about his wrestling future after WWE
Despite questionable booking decisions, Rick Boogs managed to get over with the fans to a certain degree. This made his release from WWE last year all the more surprising.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Boogs was asked whether he still plans to continue wrestling. He revealed that it’s not in his plans for now. Boogs explained that when he commits to something, he wants to give it his full focus. Currently, his attention is on creating fitness and bodybuilding content, and he does not wish to balance that with wrestling simultaneously.
“No [on being asked if he wants to keep wrestling]. When I first decided I was going to do wrestling, pursue it, I had to be all in on something. So like, I was doing strength and conditioning stuff, personal training. I was like, if I'm gonna commit to this other endeavour, I just gotta get [in the zone]. So I just quit my job, I have a wife and a daughter. I just got unemployed for the sake of you know, getting hungry that I really wanted to make it happen, which my wife was not happy about. She was like,'Why did you have to quit?'" Rick Boogs said.
