A former WWE Superstar was recently spotted at an event in Texas and looked unrecognizable. Bobby Fish, a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, sported his typical beard in a different color.
Fish was signed with WWE from 2017 to 2021, mainly performing on NXT as part of the Undisputed Era with Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong. He was released from his contract in August 2021, returning to the independent circuit initially.
The 48-year-old star wrestled in different promotions since then such as Major League Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, TNA Wrestling, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He recently returned to MLW and was advertised to wrestle Ariel Dominguez at the promotion's tapings on January 11 in North Richland Hills, Texas.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Cameron Hawkins of The Ringer shared a short reel with Bobby Fish. The former member of The Undisputed Era had no hair, which he has been sporting since last year. However, he seemingly stopped dyeing his beard since it's now gray.
One of the biggest compliments Bobby Fish has gotten over the years was that he didn't look his age. But with his latest appearance, he seemed age-appropriate due to his gray beard. Nevertheless, he's still in excellent shape for a 48-year-old athlete.
Bobby Fish once praised Triple H for how he booked Undisputed Era in WWE
The Undisputed Era is one of the greatest stables in NXT history, led by Adam Cole with his real-life friends Kyle O'Reilly, Bobby Fish, and Roderick Strong. Triple H was at the helm when they were among the best groups in WWE, with Fish once praising him for how he booked them in an interview with WrestlingNewsCo in 2023.
"I think that people just didn't want to see us break up. They didn't want to see us not together. I think that speaks to some of Hunter's, for lack of a better term, brilliance in putting us together. None of us were the biggest guys in the world, but we could all work. We all brought similar talents but were unique in our own ways." [H/T - WrestlingInc.]
All four members eventually made their way to AEW, but Bobby Fish didn't have the best experience working for Tony Khan.
