Jey and Jimmy Uso recently brought the house down with a memorable spot that received a huge pop from the live crowd. The Usos took out Bloodline member Tama Tonga at a recent Live Event, with Jey putting him through a table.
The Usos took on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu as part of WWE's ongoing Holiday Tour. The Street Fight went down at a recent event in Jacksonville that featured a bunch of other matches involving the company's biggest names. Though The Usos lost to Sikoa and Fatu, the legendary duo had the last laugh.
After the match, the eight-time WWE Tag Team Champions took out Tama Tonga with Superkicks. Main Event Jey then followed this up by putting Tonga through the table in a spot that generated thunderous applause from fans. As expected, this even took a toll on Jey Uso, which led to Jimmy Uso checking on him. However, Jey was quick to recover and got back on his feet in no time alongside his brother.
D-Von Dudley is rooting for Jimmy Uso's singles success in WWE
In a recent interview, D-Von Dudley stated that Jimmy Uso was destined for the same level of success as his brother, Jey, in singles wrestling. The WWE Hall of Famer believes that Jimmy would be pushed to the moon sooner or later and that given his popularity, fans were likely to accept him as a main-event performer:
"Right now, you know, I think Jimmy's growing. I think Jimmy's coming back from some setbacks of his own. And, eventually, Jimmy will get the same opportunity that Jey did and he'll blow it out the box too. Both of them will be very successful at what they're doing. So, I think it's only a matter of time. I think we shouldn't rush anything. We should just wait and see what happens and see how it deals us because, again, they're both talented, they're both young, they're both hungry, and they both have what it takes to make it," he said.
Jimmy Uso was involved in a marquee singles match at WrestleMania 40 against his brother Jey Uso. However, it received a mixed reception from fans, with many considering it to be one of the weaker matches at the event.
