Cena was involved in the main event of tonight's SmackDown and hit an Attitude Adjustment on Jimmy Uso. Solo Sikoa immediately put Cena down, but the interference was enough for LA Knight to pick up a big win over him.
After the show went off the air, John Cena headed backstage and encountered none other than Rey Mysterio. The two legends immediately shook hands and embraced to a loud pop from the fans in attendance.

Cena and Mysterio have quite a bit of history together in WWE. In the early 2000s, the former was a heel and battled the babyface Mysterio on several occasions on SmackDown.
Cena and Rey Mysterio are two of the biggest babyfaces in the promotion's history. Mysterio was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year. Cena respects and admires the United States Champion, judging by their interaction after SmackDown.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
