[WATCH] WWE releases unseen footage of top star moments after heartbreaking betrayal of major faction

WWE has posted a clip on social media of a former champion moments after he turned on his friends. The person in question is Wes Lee, who betrayed the Rascalz on NXT this week.

During the show, which was promoted as NXT Great American Bash Week Two, The Kardiac Kid and Zachary Wentz reunited MSK and challenged Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the NXT Tag Team Championship in the main event. However, they lost the bout via pinfall after Wes Lee was pinned by Axiom.

After the match, the former North American Champion shockingly hit Trey Miguel with a Superkick in the ring. He then hit Zachary Wentz with a low blow. Everyone in the arena was stunned. However, it didn't end there. He sent Miguel through the barricade and hit Wentz with a Meteora into the steel steps.

After the show, WWE posted a video on Instagram of a heel Wes Lee heading backstage. He shoved the camera on his way to the back, and he looked very angry.

The Rascalz are not only part of NXT, as they also appear in TNA. It'll be interesting to see how this heel turn will impact their storyline in TNA.
