Former WCW wrestler Buff Bagwell recently spoke about working in the colorful world of pro wrestling. The star was one of the most prominent figures of WCW back in the 1990s.
Bagwell had a stellar career as he made it big in the tag team scene in WCW. He became a five-time World Tag Team Champion while teaming up with multiple wrestlers, including the legendary Scotty Riggs. The 54-year-old also worked for other prominent promotions, including WWE and TNA Wrestling.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda's Dr. Chris Featherstone, Buff Bagwell recalled his partnerships with some absolute legends such as 2 Cold Scorpio, The Patriot, Scotty Riggs, and Shane Douglas. He learned something from every one of these stars.
"Along the way, you learn as you go. 2 Cold Scorpio was my first; my second was Scotty Riggs; third was Stars and Stripes, and fourth was with Shane Douglas. Four great talents, and I learned something with all of them. 2 Cold got me an incredible start with a lot of talent," he said.

The former WCW and WWE star mentioned he enjoyed tagging with Riggs as the American Males. He recalled how they were over and would get a lot of attention from people even outside the wrestling ring. He added:
"I think some of the best stories has got to come from being with Scotty Riggs as the American Males. Two good looking guys; pro wrestlers in the world of pro wrestling, WCW, we're the World Tag Team Champions. It was a big deal for us. Every club we walked into, it was the American Males. The music, the industry, everything was a lot of fun. It was great to be on top with that situation. Had a lot of fun. It was great being a World Tag Team Champion with Scotty Riggs."
