Veteran referee John Finegan recently addressed his experience working with a WWE Hall of Famer. He claimed this veteran was "a nightmare" to work with.
Sunny kicked off her wrestling career in the early 1990s. She worked in several promotions, including WWE and ECW. In an interview with the Wrestling Then And Now podcast, Finegan recalled working with the Hall of Famer in ECW. The veteran official explained that she was often very difficult to deal with. He also dubbed her a "nightmare."
Meanwhile, Finegan also spoke about the time in Buffalo when they did a pay-per-view, in what he believed was the worst time he had in dealing with Sunny in ECW. He claimed that she was a total mess and it was a miracle no one got injured that night. The 57-year-old said no one frustrated him in the ring like she did.
"What a nightmare she is. Buffalo was probably the worst one. We did a pay-per-view in Buffalo. It was Chris [Candido] and I think it was Chris vs. Sabu. And she was a mess. We needed to carry her out of catering just to get her to a dressing room to get dressed. She didn't get much better in the match. I can't believe somebody didn't get hurt but she was botching everything left and right. I never was so frustrated in the ring with somebody as I was with her that night," he said. [4:06 - 4:36]

John Finegan claimed Sunny destroyed Ex-WWE Tag Team Champion Chris Candido
Sunny and Chris Candido started dating in high school. They remained in an on-and-off relationship for nearly a decade and a half until the former WWE Tag Team Champion sadly passed away, aged 33 in 2005.
In his interview with Wrestling Then And Now, John Finegan claimed Sunny's ways had destroyed Candido.
"It bugs me so much even today. Unbelievable talent. Just a great guy. An absolute great guy destroyed by Tammy [Sunny]. And it was sad. I mean, we saw it. I probably saw Chris when he was 15 years old in a ring and just so talented then. But he was brought down by her and it's just so sad. It's awful awful story. Awful that he's not even with us anymore and she's sitting in a jail cell after her yearly actions. Unbelievable talent though and super super guy that had drew a short stick in life with having to be wrapped around with her," he said.
Despite being in a relationship with the late former WWE Superstar, Sunny confessed to having multiple flings with other co-workers, including Shawn Michaels.
