The trilogy match between these two megastars is going to be a must-see war as it will be contested inside the unforgiving steel structure. However, a clip has gone viral on social media where The Scottish Warrior is looking injured during a dark match after the latest episode of SmackDown went off-air, which has concerned fans about whether Drew is going to miss his much-awaited Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk amid the potential injury he sustained.

After the latest episode of the blue brand went off the air, Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso locked horns in a dark match. It looked like things took a severe turn when a clip of the former WWE Champion potentially sustaining a knee injury surfaced.

However, a full version of the video showcases that McIntyre was just playing around to bait The Yeet Master. Once the latter was baited, Drew headbutted him and hit him with a GTS, mocking CM Punk in the process.

There is no chance Drew will miss the upcoming Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk at Bad Blood 2024, as McIntyre was not injured. He was just performing an old-school heel tactic to win the contest.

Despite pulling the heelish tactic, the dark match between Jey Uso and McIntyre did not end up in the latter's favor, as The Yeet Master managed to secure a win against Drew after delivering a vicious Spear.

Apart from McIntyre vs. Uso, reigning Women's World Champion Liv Morgan put her title on the line against former NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria and successfully defeated the latter.

WWE legend says Drew McIntyre could turn babyface after Bad Blood 2024

On a recent episode of Busted Open After Dark, WWE legend Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts on the CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre match at Bad Blood 2024, and he feels that The Scottish Warrior, who has been a top heel on RAW for months now, could turn babyface after he is done with Punk.

Dreamer explained that the winner of the Hell in a Cell match automatically puts himself in the World Heavyweight Championship picture against Gunther and he thinks that the chances of Drew McIntyre winning the match are pretty good.

"Would I give it to CM Punk? Yes, I would. But like I said, if CM Punk wins, then I think he has to go towards a world title. If CM Punk loses, it's hard to justify giving him a world title shot. Sothen, do you go with Drew? Because I mean, Drew and Gunther would be next level, but then you're pretty much turning one of your biggest heels babyface, which Drew can actually do," Tommy Dreamer said. [H/T WrestlingINC]

It will be interesting to watch the trilogy match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk at Bad Blood 2024.
