John Cena announced his participation in the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble Match during the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere. He has one whole year ahead of him before calling it a career, so now is the time for talents to step up for a match against arguably the biggest name in the industry of the 21st century.

As part of the Netflix shift, injured WWE Superstar Bronson Reed did an interview for the billion-dollar streaming company. He brought up the 16-time World Champion during the conversation.

Bronson Reed reminded that John Cena's career was filled with behemoth villains whom he had to overcome each time. This makes The Auszilla an ideal opponent for the veteran. Reed claimed that Cena has one "final monster" to overcome before he rides off into the sunset:

"I feel like I'm the perfect opponent for John Cena. If you've watched his career, he's always been fighting big monsters and trying to conquer them. I feel like I'm the final monster for him to overcome." [H/T: Netflix]

Many veterans and new talents' names have been in the conversation of who should face John Cena during the 16-time World Champion's farewell tour. If Bronson Reed manages to get back into the ring soon, he could make the challenge as he has made a legitimate case.

Why was Bronson Reed not at the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere to confront John Cena?

Bronson Reed was involved in a major program with Roman Reigns and his original crew from their days in The Bloodline. The Auszilla joined the rival team, led by Solo Sikoa, at Survivor Series in November, to fight inside the WarGames cage. Unfortunately, a high-risk move off the top of the cage proved detrimental to Reed's immediate future.

Fans were quick to compare Bronson Reed's jump off the cage with WWE Hall of Famer Adam 'Edge' Copeland's similar leap in AEW last year. Wrestling veteran Konnan dismissed this notion. He reminded that, unlike Edge, who is much older, Reed could have gotten away with it. At the end of the day, he took a risk, and it did not end well.

The 330-pound athlete addressed his injury and gave an update on the subsequent surgery he underwent recently. He also confirmed that he won't be cleared for WrestleMania 41.
