Will Rhea Ripley and major star have intimate moment on WWE TV? Ex-host addresses Rikishi's controversial comments

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi recently slammed the company for teasing a romance angle between Rhea Ripley and a top RAW star. However, a former host in the promotion does not seem to agree with the wrestling legend.

The RAW star in question is Jey Uso. Rikishi's son recently expressed interest in The Eradicator, while the latter had issues with her on-screen boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio. He even asked her on a date to Waffle House. While the tease has grabbed much attention from fans, the WWE Hall of Famer slammed the company for booking his son in that angle, wondering if they were trying to break up Jey's marriage. The veteran added that they better not have his son and Ripley tongue ki** on TV. However, ex-WWE host Matt Camp claimed Jey would benefit from working with Mami.

On his The Wrestling Matt podcast, Camp addressed Rikishi's concerns about Jey and Ripley potentially having an intimate scene on TV, stating that it would not happen. He pointed out that the former Women's World Champion barely touched Dominik Mysterio before licking his face in the ring last Monday on RAW:

"They're not gonna do that. Rhea barely touched Dom, like, any kinda like real serious ki**. She licked his face last night but, like, they always kinda kept that at bay. Will Dominik Mysterio betray Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam

While Jey Uso hinted at pursuing Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio has been trying to patch up his relationship with Mami since her return to WWE RAW. This week on the red brand, he publicly rejected Liv Morgan, telling her he hated her. His statement seemingly made Ripley extremely content that she licked his face.

Nevertheless, Matt Camp predicted on The Wrestling Matt podcast that Dominik will betray his on-screen girlfriend and side with the Women's World Champion:

"Rhea Ripley ain't gonna be a babyface with Dominik Mysterio standing next to her. And she is a babyface. And she's been a babyface since she beat Becky at WrestleMania and probably before that and since Liv drove her arm into a wall and injured her. She is a top five person in the company that's a babyface. Dirty Dom with Rhea is not a babyface. And based on that, I am fully expecting Dom to side with Liv," he said.

If Dominik Mysterio turns on Mami and sides with Morgan, it would be interesting to see if the former Women's World Champion would enter a romantic relationship with Jey Uso on WWE RAW.
