Chelsea Green faced Bayley in a singles match during the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. This was a semi-final match of the ongoing tournament to determine the inaugural Women's United States Champion.

Bayley started strong, hitting a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall early in the match. When Green moved to the outside, Bayley followed up with a baseball slide. However, the momentum shifted when Green's tag team partner, Piper Niven, caused a distraction at ringside, allowing Chelsea to take control.

After the commercial break, Green hit a facebuster for a two-count. The action then spilled outside the ring, where Bayley regained momentum with a suplex that left Green in visible pain. In the closing moments, Bayley set up for a diving elbow from the top rope, but Piper Niven intervened again, pulling Green out of harm's way.

The Role Model adjusted and dove onto Niven at ringside, but the distraction proved costly. Chelsea capitalized, throwing Bayley into the timekeeper's area. Bayley narrowly beat the referee's count, but Green was ready. She hit a running knee, followed by the Unprettier to secure the big win.
