A World Champion has been forced to vacate his title after suffering an injury, but now an ex-WWE star is the new champion. The match took place over the weekend.
B Cool won the OTT World Championship in the main event when he defeated Trent Seven in a huge match. He got the win with a Brainbuster in a big moment that saw the entire locker room empty as they all came out to celebrate the star's win at OTT ScrapperMania VIII. It was a big win as he became the ninth champion to have ever held the title, bringing to an end Trent Seven's reign. Unfortunately, an injury saw him forced to vacate the title, amidst a Big Damo return.
At OTT Aftermath on Sunday, though, it was announced that B Cool had suffered an injury. As a result, he was forced to vacate his title. Instead, a triple threat match was announced between Trent Seven, Man Like DeReiss, and former WWE star, Big Damo.
Damo, known to WWE fans as Killian Dain, emerged as the winner and was crowned the new champion in front of the Belfast crowd. He was the hometown favorite going into the match.
It remains to be seen when B Cool returns, and when he does, if he gets a title shot against Big Damo to regain his World Championship.
