It has been a few days since WWE RAW's Netflix premiere, and the ratings are out. Both companies have released pressers regarding the same, and a World Champion has reacted after being shocked by the ratings.
On the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and current TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth shared his thoughts on the ratings. Upon hearing the presser's phrasing, Nemeth assumed that WWE and Netflix were not ecstatic about the numbers. He believed that perhaps the ratings were a tad bit underwhelming when compared to the lofty expectations.
However, he was shocked upon learning the actual numbers, which saw WWE RAW get 2.5 million viewers in the United States and a grand total of five million viewers worldwide. Nemeth claimed that the numbers were "freaking fantastic."
"The funny thing, to me, that stands out is that the first sentence was like, "WWE had a strong night" or something. In my head, I was like, "Oh hey! Relax, everyone will find the channel next week." No, it's two-and-a-half million US, five million globally. Like, that's freaking fantastic!" said Nic Nemeth. [4:10-4:30]

It's safe to say that most people think the red brand's Netflix debut was a huge success. It will be interesting to see if WWE can maintain these numbers in the coming weeks.
Nikki Bella also drew huge numbers for WWE RAW's Netflix premiere
Viewership wasn't the only place WWE RAW succeeded when it came to the Netflix premiere. The social media numbers were also at an all-time high, and one of the stars they can thank is WWE legend Nikki Bella. The Hall of Famer was present at the event, sparking a lot of buzz online.
WWE's post featuring Bella on X was the most viewed and liked tweet from the event. It has currently garnered a whopping 4.9 million views and 68,000 likes. At one point, it was also the most viewed and liked post of 2025.
With Bella making an appearance, some are wondering if she could be coming out of retirement. This could be a possibility, especially with the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 around the corner. But only time will tell.
