Wrestling legend Bill Apter was full of praise for a certain RAW Superstar, as he believes the performer could be an opponent for Cody Rhodes. Apter expressed that Bronson Reed has all the makings of a top heel thanks to his old-school look and mentality.
Reed recently took part in a triple-threat match at WWE Backlash for the United States Championship. Despite falling just short, many predict that he could be one of the dark horses of Monday Night RAW in the coming year as he continues to rise up the card.
On the latest episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Apter told co-host Mac Davis and former SmackDown GM Teddy Long about why he is so fond of him. The Australian star has been gaining some serious momentum in 2023.
Bill Apter said that Bronson Reed has what it takes to be a top heel superstar:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
"Bronson Reed, he's really starting to climb up. When you're talking about Damian Priest and people that are coming out to the forefront. Bronson Reed is an old-school bad guy. He's got the look for it, the attitude for it, and he's scary when he comes on TV." (14:02-14:19)
When asked about who he thinks would be a good match-up for Bronson Reed, Apter named Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes is now out of World Heavyweight title contention
Cody Rhodes was one of the favorites to go all the way in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament when it was initially announced. Before the participants were even named, fans knew that Rhodes would be involved.
That turned out to be true as he competed in a triple threat match on WWE RAW last night in a bid to get closer to capturing the title. However, his victory over Brock Lesnar at Backlash came back to haunt him, as The Beast Incarnate returned on the red brand to cost Cody a shot at the World Heavyweight title. Instead, Finn Balor advanced to the semi-finals after pinning The Miz.
Cody ultimately accepted Brock Lesnar's challenge for a match at Night of Champions, and it will be interesting to see how the clash plays out.
