WWE Crown Jewel is going to be a huge event. Even without names like Drew McIntyre and CM Punk, the card seems stacked enough and could feature a major return after nearly a month according to a wrestling legend.

On this week's episode of Smack Talk, Rick Ucchino and SP3 spoke to wrestling legend Bill Apter about some of the matches on the upcoming Saudi Arabia show - specifically the two bouts for the Crown Jewel Championship.

The veteran wrestling journalist Bill Apter said the Gunther-Goldberg angle was hot and he sees a scenario in Saudi Arabia where Goldberg returns and attacks Gunther, giving Cody Rhodes the win. According to Apter, this will kick off the brief Gunther-Goldberg feud. He also acknowledged an alternate possibility:

"The Goldberg scenario with Gunther was so in Atlanta several weeks ago. You've got Gunther vs. Cody [Rhodes] at Crown Jewel. What a great way to have Gunther lose. The referee takes a bump, and Goldberg comes in, and spears Gunther. Cody - 1,2,3! Then you get the Gunther-Goldberg slight feud to happen maybe or my other thing is - if it happens the other way, then Kevin Owens screws Cody. But I think that's how they bring Goldberg back. He's going to do something at Crown Jewel." (0:50-1:41)

WWE could be adding a huge Rhea Ripley match at Crown Jewel

Right now, the card in Saudi Arabia only features a few matches, with more confirmations expected in the coming week.

Fans in Riyadh will also be hoping to see Rhea Ripley in action and considering her ongoing rivalry with Liv Morgan, there could be a deviation.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE could add Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez to the card in Saudi Arabia. It doesn't seem like a done deal, however.
