There's an old saying in the world of professional wrestling that runs through the WWE Universe's veins and it goes, "Never Say Never."
From the shocking return of Goldberg to Sting's jaw-dropping debut, fans have a glimmer of hope that wrestlers from yesteryear will show up in the Stamford-based promotion someday. As such, WCW veteran Konnan is "secretly" in talks with WWE about a potential comeback.
The former nWo member was last seen in a WWE setting earlier this year when he inducted his friend Rey Mysterio to the Hall of Fame class of 2023. Since then, speculations have been wild about the 59-year-old possibly doing business with the global juggernaut for the first time since 1992.
Konnan has previously admitted that he's open to the idea of working with the LWO, a faction that has recently been reestablished under the new leadership of Rey Mysterio.

Speaking on the Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan spilled the beans on his potential return to the company:
"I can't really get into too much details because it could happen, but it was just me working alongside some people there that would have been something cool, and it's still hanging in the air, you know, may not happen. It may obviously if I see, you know, a bit of time passes, and it doesn't happen, then I'll tell you exactly what it was. It's a pretty cool idea," Konnan said. [From 01:41 to 02:02]

Konnan is optimistic about the idea of joining the LWO in WWE
Despite being retired from in-ring competition, Konnan has stayed active in the business by making several sporadic appearances for major promotions like AEW and IMPACT Wrestling.
In an interview with Inside the Ropes, the former WCW champion expressed his desire to do an on-screen program with the Latino World Order:
"Oh, well, definitely. I think right now, the storyline would be you know — I have many ideas for this, just join the LWO because a lot of people don't know this, because a lot of people don't follow Lucha. But Fantasma [Santos Escobar in WWE] was a guy that I've known him since he was a little kid."
Back in the day, Konnan was originally slated to run the LWO before the late Eddie Guerrero became the leader.
Could the WCW veteran return to take over the LWO's leadership reigns from Rey Mysterio? Only time will tell.
