Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently spoke about Triple H appointing Nick Aldis as the SmackDown General Manager.
Triple H showed up on this week's episode of SmackDown and made an important announcement. The Game promoted Adam Pearce and made him the General Manager of RAW. He then introduced wrestling veteran Nick Aldis as the new General Manager of SmackDown.
This week on Smack Talk, Mantell spoke about Hunter's announcement. He claimed that it was a confusing decision to bring in Aldis as a General Manager. The veteran felt that the new SmackDown manager would have a feud with Adam Pearce down the line.
"My initial perception is it was just an okay show. Nothing spectacular happened. No alliances changed. But that's the way they do things. Let's see where they go from here. You know what confused me? It's the hiring of [Nick] Aldis. I knew it was coming. But I think we'll have those two end up feuding too. We'll almost have to in 6-8 months." [From 01:13 to 01:45]

Nick Aldis brought Kevin Owens to WWE SmackDown
The new SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, made a huge impact when he brought in Kevin Owens to WWE SmackDown this week.
A few weeks ago, Jey Uso moved to RAW, and in his place, a superstar from the RAW roster had to be traded to the blue brand. As his first decision as General Manager, Aldis decided to rope in The Prizefighter.
Owens walked down to the ring and instantly hit a Stunner on Dominik Mysterio, who was outside protesting against the Tag Team Champions having a match on SmackDown.
It will be interesting to see how Owens fits in the blue brand as a singles star.
