Former Women's Tag Team Champion, Jade Cargill, had an embarrassing botch at WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. However, a wrestling veteran recently praised her for handling it well.
The Storm teamed up with Bianca Belair to defend their Women's Tag Team Championship against Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn in a Triple-Threat Tag Team Match. The fight saw Cargill fall on her face as she tripped while leaping over the top rope to get into the ring, during one of the spots.
On Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, veteran Magnum T. A. addressed the botch, stating that such things happen and wrestlers usually learn how to snap out of it quickly, as it was part of what they learn. Meanwhile, the 65-year-old praised Cargill for her reaction after the botched move, stating that he was happy to see her dust it off and keep going.
"Let's talk about when your superstar goes to leap like a tall, like a gazelle over the top rope and bust their a** right before they're gonna make a comeback. So, those things happen. They've happened throughout the history of the business. And learning how to snap back out of that is part of your professional 101 classes. And poor Jade Cargill got a real big mouthful of that as she made her comeback in that women's six-tag match. But to her credit, she got right up and dusted it off and kept it moving. And I was happy to see that," he said. [30:55 - 31:31]

WWE Hall of Famer wasn't surprised by Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair's defeat at Clash at the Castle
At WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair lost the Women's Tag Team Championship to Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn despite neither getting pinned. On Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long addressed Cargill and Belair's defeat.
The former SmackDown General Manager claimed he was not surprised by the result. He pointed out that it might have been a strategic decision from the company, and there was no knowing how things would pan out once the promotion returned to the United States after the recent PLE in Glasgow, Scotland.
"Well, kinda, in a way, no not really... Well that overseas market is gonna be a big money market for this company. So that's what they are thinking about. They also understand this is entertainment. But like I said, maybe, we don't know what's gonna happen after this. Maybe when they come back to the States, they may have some other plans for Bianca and Jade," said Long. [From 01:22 onwards]
Jade Cargill is scheduled to compete in a Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match next Friday on WWE SmackDown. It would be interesting to see if she will win after her tag team partner, Bianca Belair, failed to qualify last week.
