Paul Heyman and CM Punk were reunited on screen this week on SmackDown. Former WWE Manager Dutch Mantell reviewed the action and spoke about their emotionally charged segment.
Paul Heyman interrupted Punk this week on the blue brand. The Hall of Famer praised his former client and then warned him that the new Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa was out to get him. He asked Punk to leave the ring before the faction attacked him.
This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell praised Paul Heyman for the segment. He pointed out how the Wiseman had tears in his eyes during the promo. Mantell felt that emotion and commitment made the fans buy into the whole exchange between Heyman and Punk.
"Well. I was watching Paul right before Solo went out, in his eyes, he was crying. You could tell, damn. He didn't start off that way but he got that way. So, he shows emotion and that gets you into it more." [16:53 onwards]

When The Bloodline arrived to attack CM Punk, he had support in the form of Cody Rhodes who came out with a couple of baseball bats.
However, later in the show, Punk was blindsided by Drew McIntyre who left him bleeding on the entrance ramp.
