Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently spoke about Samoan family members dominating the WWE landscape. He noted how the members were related.
The Samoan dynasty is synonymous with professional wrestling. Legends like High Chief Peter Maivia, The Wild Samoans Afa and Sika, Haku, Rikishi, and The Rock made their name in the business. The current generation includes major stars like Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and many others, still keeping the family relevant.
This week on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, Mantell questioned the number of Samoans in the company. He was surprised to note that many top stars were related and involved in most of the prominent ongoing storylines. He remarked that some of the roster was made up of family members.
"Okay, how many are in that really? In that range of the Samoans. How many are there in WWE now? 10? Nia Jax is one too, right?" He continued, "Half their company are relatives." [16:10 onwards]
The Bloodline members are currently dominating the main event picture. In fact, Solo Sikoa is gearing up for Tribal Combat against Roman Reigns on the January 6 episode of RAW.
