Former WWE head writer Vince Russo spoke about Randy Orton facing against Gunther. The two men confronted each other in the ring this week on RAW.

Orton greeted the champ this week on RAW. He reminded the Ring General how he lost their encounter at King of the Ring due to a controversial referee decision. The Viper mentioned that he was the only one on the current roster who could move for move with the champ and demanded a rematch at Bash in Berlin.

This week on Legion of RAW, Russo ridiculed the booking decision. He pointed out how WWE would never take the title off Gunther in front of his home country fans in Berlin.

The veteran writer detailed that fans were getting excited despite knowing full well that the Ring General was going over.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

"Those are very simple questions. We don't even ask them anymore. 'Oh my God, Randy Orton is gonna wrestle Gunther!' And they're gonna take the title off Gunther after three weeks, yeah, you think? Yeah, sit through the match between Randy Orton and Gunther so you can watch the unpredictable finish because we don't know what Triple H is gonna do. Oh my God, we have no idea who's gonna go over in that match," Russo said. [From 26:05 onwards]

The match has been made official, and Randy Orton will finally have his shot at redemption against Gunther at Bash in Berlin.

It will be interesting to see if the new World Heavyweight Champion can get a clean win over Randy and remove the asterisk from their last encounter.
