WWE star and Wyatt Sicks member Dexter Lumis was in action on RAW this week. He faced former WWE Champion The Miz in a singles encounter.
It was all-out chaos as Lumis faced The Miz on the red brand. The match ended in disqualification after Karrion Kross attacked the Wyatt Sicks member. Both stars' factions engaged in a brawl before The Final Testament was forced to retreat.
On the latest episode of Legion of RAW, Vince Russo, a wrestling veteran, explained that WWE should have never told the fans about when Lumis had his last match. He felt the company was burying the star by announcing this was his first bout in almost two years. The former writer pointed out that saying this inferred that Lumis was dispensible and hence, not frequently featured on TV.
"What was this whole match between Miz and Dexter Lumis about? First of all, on their own show, they're saying Dexter Lumis hasn't had a match since February 2023. That's almost two years. Why is he on the roster? Why is this dude on the roster if he hasn't had a match in two years, that's number one. Number two, why would you even say that. If you're telling me this guy hasn't had a match in two years, you're telling me this guy is not important. What bro, you're gonna tell me Cody Rhodes hasn't had a match in two years?" [From 36:44 onwards]
The Wyatt Sicks have been haunting the Final Testament for weeks at this point. It will be interesting to see how and when the two factions finally resolve their issues.
