A wrestling veteran is set for a special appearance for an Indie show. This legend was last seen in WWE in 2022.
Eric Bischoff is best known for being the mastermind behind WCW's growth in the 1990s. After the promotion was sold to Vince McMahon, Eric moved to WWE, where he served as the General Manager of RAW. Over the years, Bischoff has played many roles in WWE and other promotions, such as TNA Wrestling.
Eric Bischoff has also been involved in the creative side of things in the Stamford-based promotion. Hence, it should come as no surprise that promotions are interested in giving him creative control.
Recently, Major League Wrestling announced that the Hall of Famer would be given creative control for one night for their show called Eric Bischoff's One Shot.

WWE legend Eric Bischoff has no interest in joining AEW
Throughout his career, Eric Bischoff worked for several wrestling promotions such as WCW, WWE, and TNA Wrestling. He has even made onscreen appearances in AEW. However, he has often been critical of Tony Khan's promotion.
On his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric said he would've considered joining AEW in his 20s and 30s but is not interested at this stage in his career.
“No. I hope AEW pulls a nose up, figures out a way, and has vision, but we all know it’s pretty public, the kind of drama going on backstage. If I was in my 20s and 30s, hell yeah. Why not, especially with the kind of bags that are being thrown around backstage there. Hell yeah, I’d do it. Even in my 40s, I would have done it, but at this stage of my life, I wouldn’t go near it. First of all, the first time I step [sic] foot in AEW, everything that’s wrong with that place would be wrong because of me. I ain’t going near it. I wouldn’t even want to show up on camera anymore."
It will be interesting to see if Eric Bischoff will take on more work from other promotions in the future.
