Tiffany Stratton's loss in a major match on WWE SmackDown might not have pleased the internet wrestling community. The 2024 Ms. Money in the Bank failed to advance to the Women's United States Championship Tournament final after losing to Michin on Friday.

Speaking on the BroDown podcast on Backstage Pass, Vince Russo expressed his frustration with WWE's booking of Tiffany Stratton, wondering why the company made Stratton job to Michin despite the former being a massive fan favorite in the tournament.

"I always look at it this way. I mean, Mac, I think it's obvious. Who's the money? Who's the money? When you look at Michin and you look at Tiffany, who's the money? Tiffany in clearly the money. Why in God's name are you beating her in a match?" [09:02 onwards]

Earlier on the podcast, the former WWE writer argued if popular superstars losing big matches was a pattern or a timing issue, comparing Stratton's loss to that of Gunther (at WrestleMania XL) and Uncle Howdy (on RAW this past Monday).

"They beat people, like at the weirdest times. I could tell you off the top of my head: Gunther losing to Sami Zayn; just this past Monday, Uncle Howdy losing (to The Final Testament). And now you got Tiffany Stratton losing to Michin?!" [09:37 onwards]

The final of the Women's United States Championship is set for WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2024. It remains to be seen if Chelsea Green on Michin will make history tonight.
