WWE 'acknowledges' Becky Lynch; legendary 9-time champion 'returns' after reported exit

WWE Superstar Becky Lynch has been absent from the promotion for more than three months now since her exit in June this year. The Man was last seen in a losing effort against Liv Morgan in an attempt to reclaim the Women’s World Championship. However, this week’s episode of NXT saw the Irish Superstar get acknowledged by the Stamford-based promotion.

Tatum Paxley is currently involved in a feud with Wendy Choo and her TNA ally, Rosemary. She is being helped out by Lyra Valkyria, who was seen backstage with her this week. Notably, Paxley pulled out several dolls from her collection. While the dolls of Roxanne Perez and Shayna Baszler were present in the collection, surprisingly, she also had a Becky Lynch Doll.

Tatum Paxley handed The Man’s doll to Valkyria stating that she likes her and pointed out their friendship. However, the former NXT Women’s Champion asked her to focus on the real-life Wendy Choo and Rosemary instead.

This was a subtle acknowledgment by Shawn Michaels and the WWE creative team towards Becky Lynch. However, some feel this could be hinting at her return to the Stamford-based promotion soon. While there have been reports that claimed she has exited the company, no official statements have been made so far and the star is still listed on the superstars section of the website, and not the alumni page.

Interestingly, Liv Morgan recently took a shot at The Man and said that she single-handedly ended her WWE career. It would be interesting to see if Lynch comes back to give The Judgment Day member a fitting response.
