WWE advertisement spoils the outcome of upcoming World Championship match at Clash at the Castle

Damian Priest will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle on June 15th, but a recent advertisement may have spoiled the outcome of that match.

Ahead of the show, Madison Square Garden has promoted their upcoming event showing Damian Priest defending his Championship against Jey Uso, on June 28th.

This means that it's likely that Priest will be leaving Glasgow, Scotland with the World Championship, much to the dismay of the watching Scottish fans.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

What is even stranger here is the fact that the title will be defended seemingly in a dark match on SmackDown when it is the RAW World Championship. Priest and Uso both appear on the red brand, so it's unclear why the two men are set to be part of SmackDown, even though it would be a major show at Madison Square Garden.

Many fans have already commented on the announcement, making it clear that this should be changed or at least deleted because it seemingly gives away the result of Clash at the Castle, especially if McIntyre isn't booked for the same show.

It is worth noting that all WWE cards are subject to change, but the timing of this announcement couldn't have been worse.

Drew McIntyre was hoping to win the WWE World Championship at Clash at the Castle

Drew McIntyre was screwed over by The Bloodline in Wales back in 2022 when Solo Sikoa debuted and helped Roman Reigns retain his title. McIntyre has since been pushing to avenge this defeat, WWE will now take an event to his home country and he will be the hometown star when he wrestles Damian Priest in the show's main event.

Whilst Drew McIntyre has become one of the biggest stars in WWE over the past few months, Damian Priest has also proved that he is worthy of the title. It's certainly hard to predict which man will be walking out of Scotland with that title on June 15th.
