WWE analyst claims Seth Rollins is the "top professional wrestler in the industry"

A WWE analyst has made a massive claim about Seth Rollins. The Visionary was in action this past Monday night during RAW's debut episode on Netflix.

CM Punk defeated Seth Rollins in the main event of this past Monday's edition of WWE RAW at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast alongside Megan Morant, Sam Roberts stated that there will be a time when fans realize that the former World Heavyweight Champion is the top professional wrestler in the industry.

"At some point, we will all recognize Seth Rollins as the top professional wrestler in the industry. At some point, people will realize that we have a modern-day icon that stands before us every single week on Monday Night RAW. But once again, that day is not today. CM Punk is in the main event of a show like the first Netflix RAW because he's as big a star you could as you could conceive of," said Roberts. [From 00:01 - 00:38]

Sam Roberts added that Rollins was in the main event against Punk because the company wanted to send a message to the world that this is what modern wrestling looked like.

"Seth is in that main event because you want to send, I believe, one would want to send a message to the world, which is this is what modern-day, forget about WWE, professional wrestling at the highest possible level looks like. Vince Russo suggests major WWE star will turn heel alongside Seth Rollins

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently suggested that Becky Lynch would return to WWE television as a heel and be paired with Seth Rollins.

Speaking on this week's episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, the legend stated that the company would likely be turning Rollins heel soon. Russo added that the promotion may also bring Lynch back as a heel and the couple could have a lot of success together.

"They are gonna turn Seth heel the same time they bring back his wife sas a babyface. If you're gonna make him a heel, make her a part of it then. You wanna bring Becky in, a little differently with a little bit of an edge, make her a part of it," said Vince Russo. [1:06:32 - 1:06:55]

It was recently reported that Becky Lynch had signed a new contract with WWE. Only time will tell what the company has planned for Rollins and Lynch on the road to WrestleMania 41.
