WWE announced a major debut for a big show. However, this new signing made a sudden appearance this week.
Delta has been a promising name on the Australian independent scene for the past few years. She has wrestled in prominent promotions such as Melbourne City Wrestling and Riot City Wrestling, where she was the top champion.
Delta even tried out for WWE in Perth earlier this year and she signed with the Stamford-based promotion. On the October 1 episode of NXT, WWE aired a vignette of Delta walking down the road, indicating that she was going to debut soon.
Tonight on NXT, another vignette of the Australian star aired. It showed her punching a wall with the words Halloween Havoc, indicating that she was set to debut at the show this weekend. By now, it was also clear that her name had been changed to Zaria.

Later on in the night, Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer faced off against Fatal Influence and came out on top thanks to help from Kelani Jordan. Following the match, Jacy Jayne spun the wheel, and it landed on the spinner's choice, meaning the NXT Women's North American Championship match at Halloween Havoc.
Just then, the lights went out, Zaria's music played, and she appeared on the entrance ramp to close out the show.
Zaria's sudden debut tonight on NXT came as a bit of a surprise, as everyone was expecting her to show up at Halloween Havoc.
