CM Punk has returned to his hometown of Chicago. He will be in action during the WWE Holiday Tour 2024 house show in the city.

WWE has brought back two of Punk's iconic gimmicks to celebrate his homecoming. On his recent Instagram story, Punk showcased special t-shirts for the event, which featured his legendary nicknames: "Second City Saint" and "Straight Edge Superstar."

"We have this beautiful shirt commemorating my return to Chicago. I don't care if I return every six months; it's a beautiful shirt. Look at that—Straight Edge, baby. We got the date on the back. It's a beautiful thing. It's good to be home. Love the weather we're having. Let's sign some autographs," he said.

The former WWE Champion will be in action later against Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. This will be the first time Punk comes face to face with The Ring General.

This will also be CM Punk's first match in the Allstate Arena in Chicago since December 2013, when he beat the Shield three-on-one in a handicap match during the WWE Holiday Tour.

It will be interesting to see if CM Punk can dethrone Gunther and become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
