WWE brutally called out for massive mistake involving Dominik Mysterio and The New Day (Exclusive)

Dominik Mysterio isn't the only WWE Superstar with nuclear heat these days on TV as The New Day also boasts of having the same. However, wrestling veteran Vince Russo feels it's a big mistake to repeat the same booking tactics.

The latest Monday Night RAW opened with a familiar sight as the live crowd didn't allow Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston to get their promos in, as they drowned the duo out with loud jeers. The New Day is deeply despised by the WWE Universe after they turned their backs on Big E, and the former tag team champions are getting the same sort of crowd reactions that made Dominik Mysterio a top heel.

The New Day has taken a page out of Dom's book and is milking the current situation and Russo wasn't too happy about it. During this week's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo called out the WWE for replicating the "pathetic" strategy they had with Dominik Mysterio:

"This show tonight, like, right off the bat, Chris, I'm watching the show and I'm like, 'Are we really going to do the Dominik Mysterio thing with New Day now?' Like, are you freaking kidding me! It was pathetic with Dominik, now you're going to do the same exact thing with Creed, he is doing the whole thing that he is waiting for them." [43:14 - 43:34]

Vince Russo wasn't ready to see WWE stretch out the same angle for another few months. The former head writer of the Stamford-based promotion also noted how the company was wasting precious TV time by allowing the audience to vilify Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston for longer periods during their shows:

"Are we going to do this for the next six months with the New Day? So you're going to make me sit there with my thumb up my....and you're wasting ten minutes till these guys freaking talk? Seriously, man?" [43:35 - 43:52]

The once-popular faction's latest run as heels is still in its early stages and WWE has some big decisions to make between now and WrestleMania 41 to ensure they retain their momentum.
