WWE has certainly built up some top-tier stars over the years. However, Vince Russo thinks that one of the most talented names on the main roster has been handled extremely poorly by the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.

The star in question is none other than Shinsuke Nakamura. Despite having an electrifying presence and an entertaining on-screen personality, Shinsuke has been relegated to near the bottom of the card over the last few years. His last significant feud was with Cody Rhodes, which did not yield much for the Japanese star.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo expressed his surprise about Shinsuke's run in the Stamford-based promotion.

"Bro, his [Shinsuke Nakamura] record in his last 40 matches is like one and 39. I was reading it; I was like, 'You have got to be freaking kidding me, bro!' Wow, you are telling me, bro... This is one of the rare guys who has charisma. That has got a cool look. That has showmanship!" Russo said. [4:16 onwards]

Russo also blamed Triple H and the WWE creative team for Shinsuke Nakamura's fall from grace.

"If that's not creative's fault, whose fault is it? This is the Trips era; okay, I got it! Whose fault is that, bro?" he asked. [5:15 onwards]

WWE has also fumbled Cody Rhodes, according to Vince Russo

Apart from Shinsuke Nakamura, Vince Russo claimed Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has lost much of his momentum.

During the same episode of Sportskeeda's Writing with Russo, the veteran stated that the creative team had nothing for The American Nightmare at this point.

"He [Cody Rhodes] has nothing to say. And again, bro, it's not; let me clarify that. It's not that Cody has nothing to say. They [WWE Creative] have nothing for him," he said. [2:20 onwards]

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against AJ Styles in an ''I Quit'' Match at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event this weekend. It will be interesting to see if the 38-year-old retains his title in Scotland.
