Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are the Women's Tag Team Champions

At WWE Backlash in France, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL to capture the Women's Tag Team Championship. Their first challengers were determined on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW.

A fatal four-way tag team match was held during the show to decide the number one contenders for the title. The teams involved were Maxxine Dupri & Ivy Nile, Dakota Kai & Kairi Sane, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance, and lastly, Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark, who were the victors.

After the bell rang, all eight women began fighting in the ring. When the show returned from commercial break, Ivy Nile and Dakota Kai were the legal competitors. The Damage CTRL member hit Nile with a punch but the latter nailed her with a suplex and tagged in her partner Maxxine Dupri.

Later on, Maxxine hit Dakota with the Reverse Caterpillar and locked the latter in the ankle lock. Kairi Sane nailed the Alpha Academy member with the Insane Elbow, breaking up the hold. Zoey Stark tagged herself in and she and Shayna Baszler hit Maxxine Dupri with their double-team finishing move to win the match. They are now the no.1 contenders of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill's WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.
